FSTC Europe provides the Embraer ERJ 135-145 Type Rating course according to EASA regulations.

Entry Requirements for EASA License holders

  • 70 hours as a pilot-in-command of airplanes
  • Valid ME, IR (multi-engine, instrument rating)
  • Valid CPL (ATPL theory) or ATPL
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • MCC certificate of completion
  • English level 4 according to ICAO requirements.
 

For ICAO License holders

In case the trainee is an ICAO License Holder, other than EASA, the Pre-Entry requirements will be according to their own License Issued Authority Regulations.

  • Extra Sessions

The MCC/JOT course can either be integated in your type rating course (please see training footprint) or it can be performed in an FNTP II simulator during your theoretical training.  

Embraer ERJ - 135/145 Facts you should know

  • The ERJ 145 was launched at the Paris Airshow in 1989 as a stretched and turbofan-powered modification of the EMB 120 Brasilia.
  • The ERJ-145's first flight took place on August 11 1995 with first deliveries from December 1996 to Continental Express.
  • ExpressJet is the largest operator of the ERJ 145, with 270 of the nearly 1000 ERJ 145s in service.
  • The second largest operator is American Eagle, with 206 ERJ 145 aircraft.
